    The three books in this Omnibus make a good collection Unquiet Woods is one of Guha s earlier books and the writing style is still a bit dreary, and the main premise that the Chipko movement was driven by economic rather than merely environmental concerns is laboured Savaging the Civilized is quite captivating though Very well researched and beautifully pieced together.
